Our client is a rapidly growing, private equity backed group of companies with a turnover in excess of £300 million. With international operations and subsidiaries throughout the globe the business has a multitude of technology, service and product offerings. 

Reporting to the Chief Customer & Marketing Officer this is a key role in the organisations leadership structure and will have a high degree of accountability and board exposure.

The role holder will be instrumental in helping the business achieve its ambitious growth targets through the delivery of ‘best in class’ customer acquisition and retention marketing programmes.  

The Director of Performance Marketing will be responsible for a newly created function which is responsible for all campaign analytics, digital automation platforms and performance marketing services.

The post holder will be instrumental in overseeing the development of marketing technology platforms and imbedding its capability across all business streams.

The challenges and opportunities will be varied and diverse across a number of sectors and international markets.

Candidates will have therefore extensive digital and performance marketing experience gained within sectors that have customer acquisition at its core.

Ideally they will have led or built a centralised marketing operations or shared services function.

Significant experience for marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, Marketo or Salesforce) their development and commercial application will also be key. 

Of paramount importance will be the individuals leadership experience and capability to build, manage and develop a high performing team.

The Director of Performance Marketing will be able to work effectively at pace with a multitude of stakeholders across a wide variety international markets.  

The credibility, gravitas and ambition of the individual will be matched by their commerciality and ability to influence at board level.

This role will need somebody not only capable of deep strategic thinking but also comfortable leading the execution and delivery of projects.
