Organisational Development & Change Director

Contract until September 2022

£100,000 - £110,000 + package

London/Home working

This global organisation is seeking an experienced OD & Change expert. You will be accountable for the change assessment, planning, intervention design and execution associated with Transformation and Separation activities.

Key accountabilities:

  • Work with HR, Communications, OD and Capability colleagues to develop and implement an integrated OD and Change plan and interventions needed to support Future Ready Transformation including Separation
  • Develop an enterprise view of major changes already in-flight. Responsible for ensuring these are understood across the business and that owners/plans are in place to embed these
  • Develop the change journey for key groups and regularly obtain input and feedback from these stakeholders
  • Coach and develop senior leaders’ capability in change management and hold them accountable for leading change effectively
  • Coach business aligned change managers in the countries and functions to develop and execute effective change plans for their area of responsibility
  • Liaise with HR and Workstream Leads to track effectiveness of change plans and agree interventions needed to address gaps or weaknesses

Experience & skills required:

  • Experience leading or playing a senior decision-making role in complex change management initiatives or large-scale technology implementations
  • Experience collaborating and interacting with leaders at multiple levels across businesses and geographies
  • Experience in large transformation programmes within formal governance structures
  • Sufficient level of seniority to have the authority to make decisions and provide guidance
  • Demonstrated ability of leading projects / change teams (direct, remote, matrix, virtual) in a matrix management environment to drive coordinated and complex work
  • OD experience and application of Org development/org effectiveness in complex global organisations
  • Able to work in a complex change landscape with high ambiguity
  • Results orientation; is committed to delivery
  • Roadblock remover – has a ‘can do’ mindset and looks for solutions
  • Strong business relationship management skills; can partner with leaders at all levels
  • Able to develop high quality change interventions for key groups
  • Project and process management expertise
