We are currently working with our client in the South and South East of the UK who are now looking to hire an experienced Sales, Business Development & Marketing Director.

This is a service-based transport organisation, with sales of just under £100 million, which possesses an established B2B customer base which is spread across a broad range of sectors. It is the market leader in its sector. Working with clients from those with more immediate and one-off needs to those requiring longer-term devised and configured solutions.

The Role

Reporting to their Managing Director, this role will be essential to the long-term success of the business and will be responsible for:

  • Defining the design of the functional areas to enhance results.
  • Creating a positive and proactive approach to meet the high sales targets of the business.
  • Marketing, from product development to lead generation, sales, customer support and contract management.

Professional Profile

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Business development and sales experience from a B2B marketplace perspective where long term relationships are strategically key
  • Understanding of a tailored solution sales approach
  • Managing and developing teams to go beyond targets
  • Leading multi-site teams to meet all client requirements
