Head of Commercial Finance

A unique opportunity has arisen for an accomplished professional to assume a commercial finance leadership role within a high-profile division of a listed Telco giant.  Reporting into a Divisional Finance Director with a dotted line to the Group Strategy Director, this role will help steer the business unit through an incredibly exciting period of change.  The priority will be to support business growth, both organic and via acquisition, through effective commercial business partnering to the senior leadership team, supporting with current and future contracts / bids and generally providing insight and commentary on the numbers.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Provide insightful input into the company's strategic plan and budget, providing the management team with insights and recommendations in relation to the financial numbers and variances
• Development of divisional operational KPI's with on-going reporting and analysis
• Provide finance and business support input to tendering and contract negotiation activities, as required
• Prepare business cases and provide financial support for new product introduction

Candidates will be qualified with significant post-qualified experience in relevant roles.  Whilst sector experience is not a pre-requisite, candidates must be able to demonstrate their experience of long-term contracts.  They will be comfortable advising/challenging at a senior level and be an experienced leader of teams.  This is a particularly high-growth division within the group, and as such, experience of scaling a business will be looked upon very favourably.
