Our client has embarked on an exciting period of growth into a number of European markets, and are focusing on the delivery of a variety of highly strategic programmes, both internally and externally with strategic partners. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and self-sufficient IT Programme Manager to join the business.

Our client is a fast growing family of global brands, focused within several Niche markets. Globally the business now generates ~ $200m of revenue and has a strong E-Commerce focus. The group is highly acquisitive with further plans to add more partner brands and the pace of change is high.

Description

For our client, this new and exciting role is paramount to their wider growth plans. The business is focusing on the delivery of many strategic programmes, both internally and externally with strategic partners, both in the UK and in the EU. The IT Programme Manager will take responsibility for delivering multiple projects on budget and to tight timelines, aligning project direction and decision points with key members of different teams.

Based near Sheffield, the IT Programme Manager will:

  • Provide essential project management and performance management reports on the status of the programmes.
  • Lead and coordinate budgets, forecasts, tasks, schedules, risk management, change management, and status to support effective decisions and project reporting.
  • Provide IT and Business stakeholder relationship management at all levels ensuring IT alignment and collaboration with the business for all the above.
  • Lead Planning and Execution Management:
    • Set and maintain a regular cadence (e.g. weekly / bi-weekly) for functional high-impact project meeting schedule and participants
    • Develop and communicate agenda and facilitate meetings
    • Participate in workstream activities throughout the week as appropriate to augment plans, track upcoming activities/milestones and resolve issues
  • Maintain disciplined Project Management:
    • Maintain detailed view of milestones, events, cross-functional dependencies, and timing of activities
    • Maintain project management tools, including: project activity plans / roadmaps, risk tracker, issue log, and change management plan
  • Support Global Program Management:
    • Support development and execution of internal/external communications plan
    • Provide summary reports and information to facilitate executive updates
    • In conjunction with IT / Ecommerce Director, lead 30/60/90 day integration progress checks

Profile

To be successful in your application, you must have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • You will be a strong leader with demonstrable experience of coordinating and delivering large and complex programmes of work.
  • Proven experience of engaging with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
  • Experience of identifying any risks and issues and providing appropriate governance and reporting;
  • Track record of integrating IT projects into different departments.
  • Proven experience of running projects delivering ERP system change and website infrastructure change.
  • Experience of personally leading high-impact projects.
  • Professional Project Management qualification essential.
  • Ideally experience of managing multi-geography projects.

Job Offer

c£70k + 10% discretionary bonus + pension.

There is opportunity for some remote working, but ideally you will be based in or around Sheffield.
