Our client is an autonomous subsidiary of a well regarded engineering group with a global footprint. The growth of the business coupled with it’s capital investment programme and strong order book creates the need to appoint a well rounded Managing Director who can demonstrate a record of making an impact both strategically and operationally to a business during  a period of rapid growth .

With a challenging customer base demanding the highest levels of product quality the company needs to address its operational efficiency and infrastructure to make it capable of satisfying the increasing demands of a robust pipe line . The individual to be appointed  will be able to demonstrate his / her leadership of an autonomous business during a period of considerable growth and in which he / she has successfully built an appropriate team capable of rising to the challenges that such growth brings .

An engineer by background the Managing Director will have a strong record through operations and factory management and will have an instinct for optimising operational efficiency . Much of the success of the business has derived from its responsiveness and adroit and flexible manner in which it satisfies and often over delivers to its customers . This is an excellent opportunity to put an individual stamp on a business and help its collegiate team to achieve the ambitious plans that the group and subsidiary both have .
