Managing Director - UK
The position of UK Managing Director will be to form and lead the UK business of an international residential developer. This position will require an individual who can source and develop both a pipeline of opportunities and a strong team to deliver the developments.
Our client is a well established residential developer working across multiple countries. They have already completed multiple developments in the UK without a full time presence and have previously worked with a UK development partner. The opportunity is to create their own self deliver entity and build a strong long term pipeline of PDR and new build developments.
The role of Managing Director UK will evolve as the position develops.
Primarily the role will be to work with the head office team assessing the current development opportunities and start to source further opportunities in cities across the UK.
As the business evolves and developments start to go progress, the MD will need to build a UK team to maintain the momentum and look at long term partnerships to deliver the developments.
The business plan is to have a fully self sustaining UK entity that will focus on residential city developments, primarily across regional cities. There is less emphasis on London however certainly not ruled out for the right development opportunity.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they are able to source and develop a pipeline of potential developments and appraise each individually for board approval.
The role will suit someone who has worked in smaller development companies that have delivered residential schemes of at least 100units and above.
The focus is on developing residential units for sale to international investors.
It is key that the individual is able to source and deliver residential developments, work autonomously and build a strong team for the longer term.
An entrepreneurial development background will suit this position well.
For the right candidate a base salary c£200,000 plus bonus and LTIP
Location is flexible, potential locations are any major UK regional city, strong emphasis on Manchester and North West region.
