Project Manager- Risk,Compliance and Assurance

The individual in role will get the unique opportunity to work with and network across a number of CFU and CU teams in order to initially deliver the policy architecture and then subsequently to act as gatekeeper to ensure adherence to it.
Specific Job requirements:
- Senior project management skills and experience
- Technical/digital expertise to help build future vision in our risk management software system based on software by Riskonnect
- Experience in change management, including delivering both process and behavioural change across large, complex organisations.
- Ideally existing knowledge in risk, compliance or assurance, including knowledge of the three lines of defence model.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to communicate effectively with the highest levels of management and decision-making within the organization.
- Ability to communicate effectively internally across large organisations with others involved in RCA. Ability to communicate effectively externally to bring in outside thinking on RCA processes.
- Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of the value drivers of the business.
- Knowledgeable in business strategy and the drivers of organisational performance, including people drivers of performance and financial literacy (eg. business KPIs, business cases).
- Comfortable working on a large programme where activities are managed according to a Matrix structure. Able to challenge others and deal with resistance to change to meet defined Programme objectives.
- Knowledge of the clients Risk Management Framework desirable
Your accountabilities:
- Coordinate activities of a large, cross-functional Matrix team to define, document and carry out post-implementation and adoption of a new risk management system
- Ensures that all projects are formally closed and where appropriate, subsequently reviewed and that lessons are learned and recorded to improve future project delivery
- Defines, documents and executes the entire programme of work, agreeing and reviewing project approach, engagement and communications plans, and quality and performance criteria with project partners
- Ensures engagement and involvement of multiple senior stakeholders throughout the project, verifying that outputs meet the required standard, and facilitates effective working relationships between team members
- Manages costs, timescales and resources, assessing and implementing changes where variances from the plan occur, and identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project, ensuring compliance to contract terms and conditions and escalating where necessary
