As part of this exciting new role, the Project Manager - Website Migrations will be responsible for a wide range of activities to support a first-class migration and deployment of two new websites. This will involve closely working with the digital agency and business stakeholders, with task management and daily progress meetings to ensure the product outcomes build towards successfully launching the websites in line with business needs.

Description

As the Project Manager - Website Migrations you will ensure the website migration work flow is efficiently managed; including tracking, testing and managing the migration content sign off with key stakeholders. You will manage the digital agency on required tasks and ensure that the workload is prioritised and the backlog/work flow in each sprint are in line with the business needs, priorities and deadlines. You will:

  • Collaborate with all team members to ensure website migration is planned, tracked and delivered to the required timelines
  • Understand and interpret project documentation, raising new documentation requirements with the digital agency
  • Ensure the GA tagging plans for both brands is consistent across the new platform
  • Highlight any "no go" scenarios and roadblocks that will impact the migration
  • Ensure the migration meets all brand guidelines and website standards
  • Conduct content audits to eliminate non-essential and/or duplicate information
  • Ensure content, layout and UX is optimised for the new responsive and adaptive platform
  • Ensure the new platforms meets all website compliance and e-privacy requirements
  • Quality control the work output from the digital agency to increase efficiency with stakeholder sign-off.

Profile

The successful Project Manager - Website Migrations will have the following:

  • Some experience of website development / management
  • Google analytics experience
  • SEO experience
  • Agency management experience
  • A proven track record of managing and delivering large scale projects
  • Strong project management/forward planning skills and the ability to use initiative to resolve problems; including knowledge of Jira or similar agile project management tool to manage work flow and migration plans
  • Experience of website development / management would be beneficial.

Ideally you will be coming from a similar Project Manager position with experience of digital projects (previous website migration project experience would be ideal!).

Job Offer

  • £45-55,000 per annum (DOE)
  • 1 FTC (please note that this is not a daily rate contract)
  • Based Surrey - ideally you will need to be able to travel to the client's office in Epsom a few times a week.
