As the largest single funder of free debt advice in England we helped almost 1.26 million people with debt advice, money guidance and pension guidance in the 2019/20 financial year. As Chief of Digital Production and Development, you will take responsibility for driving forward our digital strategy by delivering online services across the whole digital estate. This will include ownership of both the front end and back end development ensuring the teams are working collaboratively and motivated to deliver on time and producing world class technical solutions in line with the Agile software development methodology MaPS adopts. You will be accountable for the successful delivery of software solutions across the organisation and its websites.

You will be reporting directly into the Chief Digital & Information Officer and leading a team of 10-15 as well as managing third party suppliers and delivery partners.

To succeed here you will have solid experience of overseeing medium to large scale digital projects and experience of solutions design providing services to internal and external customers. Agile delivery experience is essential as well as being an accomplished team leader within the end to end digital production process. The ability to work across a large portfolio of projects and having a comprehensive track record of managing a development team and having delivered successful product(s) is key,
