Take a lead role as the Technical Solutions Architect in supporting the sales team to ensure maximum revenue opportunities are achieved. Alongside having strong technical knowledge, you will play a lead role with the client in ensuring deep rooted relationships are created to maximise the opportunities within the customer base and new customers.

Description

As the successful Technical Solutions Architect, you will:

  • Play a lead role in support the sales function with their revenue opportunities
  • Be the subject matter expert for their cloud based products to ensure clients and new prospects understand the USP of their services against competitors
  • Help provide support through discovery, demonstrations, presentations to customers, across both existing clients and new logos
  • Positioning architecture and platform to win new business within the account by communicating effective selling strategies that are based on well-defined customer-specific value propositions.
  • Routinely discuss and communicate opportunity plan sales strategy and appropriate action items with other members of the virtual account team
  • Work towards agreed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Work towards higher ratio of new business opportunities versus losses
  • Continuously gather knowledge of competitors to position own solutions in effective manner
  • Partner with enterprise sales team to gain extensive knowledge base of accounts
  • Within each assigned account, seek to expand and strengthen the organisation's presence by establishing proactive relationships with influential people, both within the customer and identified key third parties.

Profile

As the successful Technical Solutions Architect, you will have:

  • 5+ years of enterprise software pre-sales/solutions architect experience within the IT sector, preferably software solutions
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise presenting technology solutions to senior business and IT decision makers by reinforcing the value of the solution to the business's overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities.
  • Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through to drive software license, maintenance and services revenue.
  • Significant experience implementing relational databases in conjunction with an ETL or similar integration platform for use with analytical, statistical, and/or data mining platforms required.
  • Experience working directly with clients
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with both data preparation and visualisation/dash boarding platforms is a plus.
  • SQL experience and integration or API development is preferred.
  • Can be based anywhere in the UK, with links to the major cities such as Birmingham, London, Manchester
