Magic Breakfast was established 20 years ago, dedicated to tackling classroom hunger in the UK through the provision of healthy breakfasts to schoolchildren at risk of food insecurity. Magic Breakfast stands out for the simplicity of our mission and the extraordinary passion and commitment of our staff.
The charity is on the precipice of significant growth and opportunity, the issue of food inequality in the UK is in sharp focus and our response to the impact of COVID 19 on breakfast hunger has raised our profile. At this pivotal moment for the charity, we are seeking our new Chief Executive who will bring the ambition and strategic ability to take Magic Breakfast forward purposefully through this transformative period. We have recently launched an ambitious 5-year strategy for growth and consolidation. This expansion brings with it some organisational challenges, as we scale up our systems and operations to ensure that we maintain the same high quality that Magic Breakfast is known for and the new CEO will need to ensure we are set up for success.
We are seeking a visionary and dynamic leader to navigate this next phase and to ensure our future success. You will be responsible for managing a dedicated, creative and ambitious team. We are seeking a CEO who brings the skills to be the chief ambassador and spokesperson for MB, this will include with media, donors and other stakeholders. Significant experience of income generation, fundraising or the equivalent experience of major collaborations and partnerships will be essential for this role.
