An exciting clientside role working on Capital Project and Services Cost Management for a major player in their field, with a fantastic work/life balance culture. The role will manage a team covering capital expenditure on projects, budget and cost engineering.

Description

Delivering expertise on cost control, budget prep and value/cost engineering.

Manage a team of Cost and QS resource delivering QS services

Oversee and optimise a supply chain to deliver cost management process

Provide cost assurance to the property leadership team through change controls, regular updates and capex reporting

Lead and set the standard for a high performing team

Conduct feasibility studies and prepare cost report and projections for capital projects.

Provide continuous support for stakeholders on all property cost related issues

Aim to reduce / control capex cost, and building the cost data to reduce future expenditure for build, refurbishment and property services projects.

Profile

Ideally MRICS/FRICS qualified or holding a non-QS background but with excellent experience in the field of Cost, Contract or Commercial Management.

An understanding of Retail operations is beneficial

Demonstrable experience in leading construction or property of large programmes across new build and refurbishment

Excellent understanding of the latest cost management processes or industry changes

Ability to display hands of management of cost saving or delivering to a budget.
