My client is a charity with their head office in Central London and they are currently working in the office as much as they possibly can. However for this role, they are allowing the successful recruit to work from home up to 60% of the time. My client is looking to expand and they need to appoint a new Head of Cyber Security to ensure that everything is running smoothly and everyone is working efficiently.

Technical skills - Head of Cyber Security
- Excellent experience with cybersecurity frameworks, such as SANS/NIST, ISO 27000, CIS.
- Manage the 3rd Party SOC provider into operations and ensure security incident management becomes part of operational response and is run 24/7.
- Manage the relationship with external and internal auditors and own the IT Risk register.
- Team management and managing the operations of the IT security & project team from people development to appraisals.
- To possess Sysadmin skills and knowledge of Windows and Linux.
- Hands on experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, LogRythem and QRadar.
- Have knowledge of TCP/IP and be able to use them effectively.
- Accountable for effective response to security incidents.
- A strategic thinker with a strong hands-on approach, capable of designing, building, and operating security programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to drive change to business practices by working effectively with all levels of stakeholders in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience of analysing capacity and demand, recommending change when required.
- Experience with modern PaaS/SaaS - based IAM and SSO providers and protocols preferred (ex: AzureAD, Okta, Duo, SAML, etc.)
- Strong IT skills and knowledge including hardware, software, and networks.
- Ability to seek out vulnerabilities in IT infrastructures.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of IT systems.
- Should have Security Programs certification like CISM, CISA, CEH
