Description

Devise company quality procedures, standards, and specifications
Review customer requirements and ensure adherence
Work with procurement staff to establish quality requirements from suppliers
Set standards for quality& HSE issues
Ensure construction and maintenance processes meet industry standards
Establish and maintain controls and documentation procedures
Look at ways to ensure value, reduce waste and increase efficiency
Monitor performance by gathering relevant data, as well as produce statistical reports
Give suggestions on change and improvement to make and how to implement them
Use relevant quality tools and make sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business
Specify quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers
Work with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, and systems
Always direct objectives to maximise profitability
Ensure we audit and monitor quality closely, evaluate performance of the business and recommend corrective and preventive actions
Manage the selection and development of people, resources, and budgets necessary to perform the functions of the department
Ensure non conformance reports are investigated to establish root cause
Ensure non conformance log is maintained
Share lessons learned to the wider business

Profile

Leadership ability
Able to multi-task
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and databases

Degree in relevant discipline to construction and/or quality
Industry accreditation

Demonstrable track record of managing professional quality control / quality assurance in the construction sector
Demonstrated high level organisational, construction inspection and record keeping skills

Able to travel regularly
