Non-Executive Directors – Unpaid role

As a Non-Executive Director at Quantum Care, you will help build on the performance of our 23 residential homes for older people across Hertfordshire, Essex and Bedfordshire.

It’s all about improving our decisions, shaping our strategic direction and delivering results that have a direct impact on the welfare of our 1,500 residents at a time of significant organisational development.

Our care model is evolving in response to demographic, financial and regulatory changes and, in addition, we are currently building two new freehold properties in Central Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire to complement our established portfolio of leased and freehold homes.

To contribute effectively, you will need a passion for improving health and social care at a local level and a real interest in meeting the care needs of older people. You are likely to have experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas: clinical practice, property development, ICT, Local Authority relationships and governance, together with an understanding of risk management and strategic planning. Previous Board experience is desirable but not essential. Above all, to succeed in this role, you must be able to demonstrate commercial experience and the ability to bring this into a not-for-profit organisation.
