The Operations Director is responsible for developing and growing the strip production team globally to meet business targets of growth.

Description

Reporting to the SVP for strip manufacturing you will be responsible for the developing and growing the strip production team globally to ensure business targets are met in terms of quality deliver, safety and cost. You will Ensure teams are enabled and accountable for delivery and development and ensure sufficient capacity, people, materials, equipment for the strip production globally are available to meet business high speed growth. You will lead continuous improvement activities to improve performance during a fast scale-up project ensuring growth is efficient and cost effective. Understanding regulated industry you will act as a role model for the adherence to GXP and regulatory standards including ISO13485, FDA 21CFR Par 820. You will recruit and train, developing a strong leadership team and outline clear KPIs creating a culture of high performance in your area of expertise.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have a proven operational leadership background in a fast paced, ideally medical device or life science sector. The successful candidate will have led a high performing culture and results orientated approach and able to understand complex problems and be able to provide solutions. You will have working knowledge of medical devices and ideally hold a degree in engineering or scientific discipline or equivalent. You will have a background in six sigma, ideally green or black belt.
