This is a great chance to join a SaaS start-up that is led by a team who have successfully built and grown start ups in the past. You will be first on the ground in the UK and help them to accelerate growth through new business opportunities. Although at an early stage, they already have a track recording of winning against larger competitors.

Client Details

The client is a technology start up in the ID Verification/KYC software arena. They are US headquartered with rapid growth plans. The company is led by CEO who has successfully built and grown start ups in the past.


The role of Business Development Manager for this SaaS companies includes the following responsibilities:
Lead on New Business Generation for the UK and wider EMEA territory
Target Enterprise and Mid-Market clients and map out relevant target personas
Build pipeline and accurately forecast progress and future deal timelines
Work closely with US headquarters on positioning and marketing support
You will manage the whole sales process from end-to-end
Achieve or over-achieve against annual new-business quota
This is a pure 'hunter' role


The successful candidate will possess the following:
You will have prior experience of selling SaaS products and have experience closing deal sizes of $100k+
Ideally you will have sold software in to Financial Services (although not essential)
You can demonstrate strong sales methodology - from first contact through to close
Be able to operate independently within a start up environment
UK region experience is essential, but wider EMEA experience is also a plus
You must have a proven track record of achieving quota in a new logo focused role
