IT Project Manager (Logistics and Supply Chain)

3 x Exciting opportunities for IT Project Managers to work on customer implementation projects for an expanding and innovative Logistics business. Location currently fully remote and 'post covid' will allow 2 days from home with offices in East Midlands or by Yorkshire.

Description

Initiation, design, control & execution of IT Projects delivering application implementations and major changes, particularly in Warehouse Management Systems

Ascertaining customer requirements and feeding back to internal IT / Projects / Development team, pushing back on unrealistic expectations

Account managing and leadership of customer accounts in IT Project environment

Identifying, mobilising and leading a team of SME's in a Logistics environment

Creation & ongoing management of the detailed Project Plan, Risks and Issue Logs

Collaboration and communication with vast array of internal stakeholders and business leaders

Profile

Must have experience working in the Supply Chain / Logistics / 3PL / 4PL industry in a project environment

Role requires experience working with Warehouse Management Systems / WMS (preferably Dispatcher / Blue Yonder / JDA / Red Prairie)

Demonstrable experience delivering IT Projects in a fast paced environment

Good interpersonal and account management skills to partner with strategic customers and 3rd parties

Naturally problem solving and with the ability to mitigate project risks to achieve set milestones

Job Offer

£40,000 - £60,000 + benefits + 2 days working from home
