Senior Business Analyst - HR Analytics & Reporting - In IR35

My client welcomes applicants from a range of industries and is focused on bringing in talented people.

  • Act as BA in key business projects, providing expertise, in-depth knowledge, and experience to the project as well as to the rest of the Business and Business Partnering teams.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders at all levels to identify, qualify, prioritise and agree on business requirements
  • Ensure that business stakeholders express requirements and do not ask upfront for a solution.
  • Apply different techniques and tools to optimise the analysis and proactively share these best practices with the rest of the BA community.
  • Perform handover activities to other project team members, e.g. developers and testers, to ensure that the requirements and proposed design are clearly understood and agreed upon. As required, act as the sole Business Analyst on projects.
  • Document and maximise the quality of the requirements gathered.
  • Work towards the harmonisation of platforms and processes across the region, functions, and globally.
  • Ensure support to end-users during UAT.

Profile

Senior Business Analyst - HR Analytics & Reporting - In IR35

  • At least 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or assuming Business Analysis responsibility as part of his/her role.
  • Experience in the Consultancy sector in a customer-facing role is a plus.
  • MS Excel and Visio (or similar tool).
  • Experience with BI solutions (PowerBI) for HR reporting, Global data models, and Global HR metrics.
  • Good understanding of Business Intelligence concepts
  • Able to decompose/simplify complex ideas and present these back to the business in a way that they can understand and at an appropriate level of detail.
  • Be business focussed with strong interpersonal and networking skills, and establish and maintain solid, trusting relationships with project stakeholders at all levels.
  • Able to work collaboratively with project stakeholders and team members at all levels and demonstrate sound facilitation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • High level of autonomy and sense of ownership.
