bpha is the largest single provider of affordable housing within the Oxford to Cambridge arc.  Over the last 30 years, we have grown from our roots as a Large Scale Voluntary Stock Transfer (LSVT) from North Bedford Borough Council in the time of Margaret Thatcher to being a strong regional organisation with 19,250 homes.

We are a successful organisation that has an enviable record of achievement for our customer service delivery, the quality of our homes, the scale of our development programme and our standards of governance.  To build on these standards and to ensure that weare fit for the challenges to come, our Board has developed a new Corporate Strategy 2025/30.  In this, we look to imagine the economic, environmental and social challenges that will emerge as the decade progresses and sets out how we intend to answer the future needs and hopes of our customers. We believe our vision is bold and ambitious and provides the direction for us to take the next big step forward.

Our new Board member needs to bring a blend of strategic skills and social purpose. We are particularly interested in individuals with executive level experience of treasury management and raising funds across a breadth of markets.  This is an important role for us and as Chair of our Treasury Committee you will work closely with Board and Executive colleagues to ensure that we are able to deliver our development programme and that we maintain the appropriate controls and approach to risk management.

If you share our vision and can bring the skills and expertise to our Board then please do click on Apply.
