This is a senior leadership role within a significant Tier 1 plastic automotive trim and components manufacturer. Part of a growing international group, it manufactures precision components and assemblies for major OEMs which have rigorous specifications in the finish quality of their painted components. 

The role reports into Director level of this significant site, forms part of the senior leadership team and carries responsibility for all paint plant operations across the site and requires a highly experienced world-class manufacturing professional from the Tier 1 automotive component sector.  You will lead and develop the team which includes a group of experienced technical experts, ensure that the paint plant is highly organised and operates effectively in delivering its operational performance KPI’s, producing high quality parts, safely and properly with minimal environmental impact.  You will develop a high performing team through positive leadership and training ensuring that the right technical skills are embedded across all paint plant operations.  You will also focus on delivering consistent world-class quality as specified, introduce new products into the paint plant in a structured way, drive CI initiatives, maximise the use of existing and new paint technology and deliver world-class end products as a result.   You will maximise profitability and work closely with colleagues in sales, technical, design and quality on all paint related matters, ensuring that all manufacturing operational KPI’s are achieved and you will also interface closely with customers.  You will be given lots of opportunity to bring leadership and the improvement of operational performance will be supported through the use of advanced paint technology.
