GBP70,000 + Car Allowance + Generous bonus scheme & Pension

This is an excellent opportunity to work for an established business who making leaps and bounds in the space sector. This role will play a key part in technological advancements and the growth or the business.

The role itself will involve developing the navigation strategy, you will fully understand PNT and ESA navigation programmes and play an integral part in seeking navigation related BID work for the business. You will also lead engineering projects, working alongside top universities and delivering projects on time and within budget. Alongside this you will be accountable for managing 2 members within the navigation team and be an integral part of the commercial growth of the business.

The successful candidate:

• Experienced system engineer including GNSS and wider Navigation systems and or Satellite systems
• Previous experience and an understanding of the UK Space Agency/MoD/IUK/ESA/GSA
• Previous BID writing experience or familiarity with the process
• You will hold a BSc or higher degree in engineering, science, maths or equivalent experience
