Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be retained with Build-Lite UK to support the recruitment of their next Managing Director.

Build-Lite (UK) Ltd develop, manufacture and supply a range of innovative building products and creative architectural mouldings for the construction industry. Their aim is to provide new and innovative construction materials, that significantly reduce build-time, improve the carbon footprint and reduce handling and storage costs.

Build-Lite offer a range of fast-track building products, which set out to provide cost-effective solutions to some of the commercial, financial and environmental challenges that architects and developers encounter in their construction projects today.

One of Builld-Lites most exciting and fastest growing products is Future Found, a trenchless foundation system, manufactured on site, that uses High-Density Expanded Polystyrene formwork, designed and cut to suit the individual project design. It is both highly economical and energy efficient.

Build Lite has recently become an Employee Owned Trust and is now seeking a Managing Director to lead the business in this exciting new phase.

With a turnover of £2.6m, Build-Lite has ambitious, and realistic, growth targets over the next 5 years that the successful candidate will not only lead but be highly rewarded for.

The Managing Director will be responsible for:

*Developing and executing the company's business strategies in order to attain short and long-term goals, including the growth of Future Found and other key products in the business
*Providing strategic advice to the trust so that they will have accurate view of the market and the company's future
*Responsible for P&L and achievement of financial and operational performance targets
*Communicating and maintain trusted relationships with business partners, key customers and suppliers
*Leading by example, providing motivation, inspiration and support, as well as strong directional leadership to the team
*Responsible for all aspects of site Health & Safety and maintenance, including adherence to both internal policies and legislation
*Challenge and support Sales to deliver continued site profitable growth
*Monitor and maintain industry and customer certifications, particularly ISO9001

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

*Proven experience operating in a Managing Director or other senior managerial position capacity within a manufacturing and engineering environment
*Ideally with a sound understanding, knowledge & experience within construction or civil engineering industries
*Evident experience in developing strategies and business plans for growth
*Proven experience of managing a P&L or equivalent financial responsibilities
*Strong leadership with the ability to empower others
*First-class broad-ranging communication skills Inc. verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation
*Strong understanding of finance and measures of performance
*Experience in implementing and monitoring modern manufacturing techniques
