Job Details
Internationally listed technology group are looking to hire an experienced Interim Group Technical Accounting Specialist to support them initially remotely, followed by splitting time between remote working and from the London office. The role will support the finance leadership and is being offered on a 12 month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review of technical accounting matters; including restructuring, leases and share-based payments
- Support USGAAP and IFRS external reporting cycles and announcements
- Contribute to finance training, with focus on technical accounting matters
- Liaise with external auditors on review and consequences of any accounting issues
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Accountant of graduate calibre
- Strong technical accounting skills, gained in a USGAAP and/or IFRS reporting framework
- Previous experience in a technical accounting advisory role, gained whilst working within the big 4 and/or in a large commercial business
- Strong communication skills and ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels
