Please note this Lead Management Consultant can live anywhere within the UK.Assigned to projects from the earliest stage, the Lead Management Consultant for this innovative Management Consultancy will work with complex, Enterprise sized Clients in the UK, utilising your consulting skills & expertise to understand their business challenges & issues.

Utilising your strong people & communication skills, the Lead Management Consultant will develop close relationships with the clients Senior Stakeholders, working with them through the project phases from initial engagement, discovery and the presentation of your insightful solutions, delivered using Agile/Lean, Digital Transformation and Product Development.

From onboarding & leading Consultants, to co-ordinating with the IT Engineering team on new product development, the Lead Management Consultant will play a crucial role in managing the engagement from inception through to successful delivery.

Responsibilities Include:
  • In conjunction with the wider leadership team, be the SME during proposal creation.
  • Lead the Change Solution including Consultants and Delivery management teams.
  • Ensure close collaboration between the Client & Consulting teams, Product Development and Engineering.
  • Ensure change provides valuable outcomes for the Client and people within the business.
  • Be a key leader within Engagements, ensuring that the solution developed and implemented delights the business & stakeholders.
  • Onboard, train, coach and mentor Teams, Managers and Executives during their transition to new ways of working.
  • Foster effective collaboration in the Engagement teams
Expected Skills & Experience:
  • Good people skills with the ability to develop and maintain Client relationships that enable quality delivery.
  • In-depth skills & experience of deploying multiple agile methodologies to deliver value in complex organisations across all levels (Portfolio, Product and Team)
  • Proven ability to deploy agile portfolio and product management / development practices to drive value for complex organisations
  • The ability to 'get things done' through excellent influencing, communication and facilitation skills
  • Proven ability to inspire, coach and mentor change within complex organisations.
  • Previous experience of large-scale transformations, dealing with complexity Models that solved the challenges faced.
  • Experience of Value Propositions such as Organisational Psychology, Systems Thinking, Strategy creation and implementation, Agile & Lean.
  • Establish and maintain a discovery mindset, continuously learning and using the latest thinking in relation to problems to be solved.
  • Comfortable working from Client Sites and remotely.
  • Agile or Lean certification preferred.
This is a Consulting role so while the Lead Management Consultant can expect to work from home due to Covid 19, when business returns to normal, you will regularly work on client sites across the UK. Typically, Lead Consultants are away from home 3 nights during the week.
