A FTSE 250 company in the London area are looking to hire a Head of Internal Audit & Risk to takeover from the current Head. They have a small team, but a global outreach, so you will need a mix of hands on and management experience at the Head of Audit level. It's an interesting time in the businesses development as they're making a lot of hires currently due to a surge in demand for its product.

Key Responsibilities:

• To form relationships with key stakeholders throughout the businesses
• To work closely with external and internal partners in the planning and the delivery of internal audit reporting
• Continue on with the audit & risk plan and make changes where necessary
• Manage a small team in the UK and a few in other countries
• Attend quarterly Audit Committee meetings
• You will need to be able to commit to 20% international travel

The successful candidate will have:

• An accounting qualification such as a ACA/ACCA/CPA/CA is preferable
• Big 4 experience is preferable
• A strong background in Internal Audit & Risk
• The ability to work autonomously and run projects to a high standard, whilst managing your time successfully
• Ability to work well under pressure, whilst producing results
• At least 3 years experience leading Audit Committee meetings
• Experience within PLC environments
