As the Global Planning Manager you will be accountable for the supply planning process for my client's global markets, factories and contract manufacturers.

Description

As the Global Planning Manager you will be instrumental in delivering a step change to my client's planning processes. You will manage the central planning process whilst working closely with regional planning teams to deliver the highest levels of customer service whilst optimising inventory and working capital. Your outline responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

  • Creating the optimal structure and processes for centralised planning
  • Ensuring first class customer service
  • Leading the S&OP process
  • Supporting and co-ordinating activities across the manufacturing and contract manufacturer network
  • Bench-marking and sharing global best practice
  • Inventory optimisation
  • Identifying opportunities to utilise new technologies to improve the planning processes
  • Supporting Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics and Procurement teams to optimise the End to End Supply Chain process

Profile

You will be a proven Supply Chain expert with an impressive track record leading a Planning function within a globally recognised FMCG business. You will be educated to degree level in a Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or Manufacturing related discipline. You will be highly customer-centric with a strong understanding and ability to manage the balance between great service and optimised inventory. Further criteria will include;

  • SAP proficiency
  • Focus on results
  • Ability and willingness to challenge the norm and create innovative solutions
  • Incredible stakeholder management
  • Ability to cope with ambiguity and manage complexity
