Are you selling to universities?

Location flexible

There has never been a more exciting and important time in global higher education. Many of the  great questions the world faces will be answered through the teaching and learning undertaken within our universities. The research work into solutions to the current global crisis is evidence of this.

Our client is a rapidly growing organisation and a leader in the field of Online Programme Management (OPM), partnering with universities to take their degree courses online. It is driven by its core vision and mission, to help the next generation to develop both personally and professionally. Using the latest insights and best practice, our client is at the forefront of innovation across the global university landscape.

An exceptional Business Development/Sales professional is required to join the organisation in the next phase of growth to work alongside the existing team.

Working across the UK & Ireland you will be a member of our senior executive team. The role is responsible for establishing a multi-year contractual relationship with targeted universities for the comprehensive management of their online programs. The process entails working with a number of key university stakeholders, including University Presidents or Vice Chancellors, Provosts or Deputy Vice Chancellors, Deans, Department Chairs, faculty members and business administrators to obtain their buy in and support for the long-term relationship with our client.

Qualifications and experience:

A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field; Master’s degree preferred. You will have eight to ten years of work experience and proven track record in business development, sales, and/or building strategic partnerships, preferably with universities or other highly complex organizations. Experience in selling higher education services is essential, as is the gravitas and experience to deal with high-level executives. You must possess a strong executive presence with excellent communication and presentation skills. The ability to self-direct and work in an extraordinarily fast-paced and dynamic environment is crucial, as are exceptional time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
