RAND Europe
Research Group Director, Health and Wellbeing
RAND Europe is an independent, not-for-profit research organisation whose mission is to help improve policy and decision-making through research and analysis. We combine the empiricism and knowledge of universities with the client-orientation and delivery focus of professional services firms and the innovative thought leadership of think tanks.
Recent successes have led to a period of significant organisational growth, and we have created the Health and Wellbeing Research Group to help maximise potential from that growth. The Group operates across a wide spectrum of policy issues including:
- Healthcare policy and governance
- Healthcare organisation and policy
- Public health and population health assessments
- Innovation in health and care
- Quality in healthcare through our collaboration with THIS Institute at the University of Cambridge
- Evaluation of complex health interventions
- Wellbeing in the workplace
- Community wellbeing and quality of life
A rigorous research background academic, professional services or public sector domains is essential, with leadership and research portfolio experience. The role calls for broad skills and experience: a senior professional who shares our passion for delivering excellence in research; a leader who can manage a large team, mentoring and encouraging them to produce their best work; someone who understands how to drive impact through our research; someone who understands the commercial environment in which we operate.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Group, the Research Group Director will also work closely with other senior RAND Europe colleagues to help us achieve our mission and contribute towards our overall business strategy.
