  • Kent HoldCo is looking for a new Chair to join their Board
  • Exciting time to join an organisation going through a period of transformation

About Our Client

Kent HoldCo is the holding company for a range of businesses which were originally established by Kent County Council (KCC) as Local Authority Trading Companies (LATCos). The strategy is to ensure the delivery of LatcCo services at the lowest possible cost to the taxpayers of Kent, to make a positive contribution to the economic development of the County and to achieve sustainable financial returns for the Shareholder, Kent County Council.

There are five principal businesses providing a wide range of services including IT support, the national and international supply of educational consumables and professional services, energy purchasing and a legal firm specialising in safeguarding & immigration. In total, the Kent HoldCo Group employs over 1,600 people and generates over £150m in direct revenue whilst supporting over £600 million of activity.

The businesses are at difference stages of growth, with some providing the majority of their services to KCC, but all are well placed to develop in both the public and private sectors and expand their products and services. We believe this is an incredibly exciting time for an individual to join Kent HoldCo and lead the Board as the businesses build on their successful and developing strategies.
