Our client an exciting Global Software Company based in the UK, Europe, the US and Australia are an award winning industry leader in the provision of business growth software (SaaS).

We are currently expanding the Team in the North of England, looking for Business Development Managers to maximise New Business Sales and support and continue to grow the existing business.

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, this is a high profile Business Development hire demanding someone with honed closing abilities, strong networking skills, the tenacity to open doors and get past gate-keepers', to access key decision makers who immediately see the compelling case for adoption of their software.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Sales Manager to create and execute strategies to facilitate the achievement of the overall sales targets of the division
  • Generate, secure and deliver a minimum of 10 demonstrations/consultations per week to new business customers from an enviable base of prospects
  • Quickly and effectively manage key opportunities through to confirmed demonstrations and converted sales
  • Work closely to ensure marketing and sales are aligned to maximise sales and ensure all marketing activities have a positive ROI
  • Attend Industry events and deliver group presentations and demonstrations as necessary
  • Support and facilitate a favourable working relationship with partners as required
  • Keep abreast of competitor products and activity, industry news and market influences
  • Support the Client Success team in managing aspects of Client retention programs and assist in minimising client "churn"
