My client is looking to recruit a very strong HR professional for a newly created HR Director role based in the Docklands, London (Canary Wharf)

The role will include (but not be restricted to)

- Responsibility for the People and Organisational Development strategy
- Overseeing planning processes
- Responsibility for recruitment and retention plans
- Overseeing strategies across many areas within the organisation
- Establishing company values, vision and behaviours
- Develop pay and reward schemes
- Overseeing and applying HR employment policies
- Providing advice and guidance across the business
- GDPR, Health and Safety
- Remaining up to date with regard employment legislation
- overall shaping of employment experience

To be considered for this role you will need to have experience in most of the following areas

- in-depth HR management background
- excellent motivational and leadership qualities
- able to provide solutions to complex issues
- project and time management expertise
- proven ability to work under pressure
- ideally have relevant HR qualifications (eg CIPD)
- the ability to develop and manage talent and performance management programmes
- very strong people leadership skills
- excellent stakeholder management abilities
- a strong influencer
