Our client is looking to recruit a Business Transformation Programme Manager to lead on a range of strategic business orientated programmes covering technology, process and people change. This is a permanent role.

Description

Our West Midlands based client is seeking to recruit a Business Transformation Programme Manager to drive the delivery of small and large scale, complex business, technology and people change projects.

Working cross-functionally with a range of stakeholders, the Business Transformation Programme Manager will manage these projects Cradle to grave, working in alignment with the Transformation Programme Office.

The Business Transformation Programme Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • All programme reporting on either a weekly or monthly basis for presentation to the senior leadership team;
  • Ensuring all actions, risks, issues and dependencies are monitored and tracked;
  • Ensuring that programme/project documentation and processes are in alignment with the Transformation Programme Office;
  • Creating and managing the programme/project change control process and the tracking of proposed changes;
  • Ensuring programme/project budgets are properly tracked (where appropriate);
  • Engaging fully with programme/project sponsors to ensure there is no ambiguity around expectations and ensure that they are given appropriate, timely information around status and challenges;
  • Controlling the programme/project plans;
  • Owning governance and reporting processes;
  • Ensuring any issues, risks, changes or plan slippage is properly reported and managed;
  • Work cross-functionally with Technology, Finance, HR and Internal Communications.

Profile

To be successful in your application, you must have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven Project and Programme Management delivery experience;
  • Proven experience of working on cross-functional business change programmes that cover technology, process and people;
  • Experience of implementing governance structures and effectively managing risks, issues and dependencies;
  • Proven experience of managing a range of stakeholders, including C-Suite, across directorates and functions;
  • Experience of financial management and managing large programme budgets;
  • Professional project management qualifications;
  • Experience of working in retail or E-commerce.
