Our client is looking to appoint a Programme Manager to lead the delivery of a large. multi-geographical "direct to consumer" E-commerce programme.

Client Details

Global Consumer Goods business. This role is based remotely but in time may require travel to their site in Merseyside.

Description

Our client is seeking to deliver a future proofed operating model for their "Direct to Consumer" business which will include end to end processes, supply chain structure, and digital platforms.

They have created a project team across multiple work streams, including: "Web-store" development, Marketing, Operations, Order Fulfilment, Finance, Legal, Customer Experience and IT, and are now looking to appoint an experienced interim E-Commerce Programme Manager to lead the delivery of this large scale and complex activity.

The E-Commerce Programme Manager will

  • Work with the Digital Team to select a future proofed solution for all E-commerce sites;
  • Support the development of websites for all brands and markets;
  • Help to identify a European warehousing and logistics solution to support the business in Western Europe;
  • Work with the team to map end to end E-commerce processes which will fulfil the orders and returns, repairs, refunds and re-placement orders;
  • Provide the interfaces between the Front End of the web-store and the Back Office platforms;
  • Collaborate with the Customer Experience team;
  • Produce and maintain all project documentation, and track project progress in terms of time lines, budget and quality;
  • Report project status to leadership team, escalating issues, risks and constraints where required.

Profile

To be successful in your application, you must have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Proven experience of delivering complex E-commerce programmes, including Back End (ERP), CRM, digital front end, order fulfilment solutions and financial transaction management;
  • Ideally experience of working within a manufacturing or consumer goods environment;
  • Experience working across multiple geographies, categories and brands.
  • Professional project management qualification, with extensive experience of managing project plans, project risks and inter-dependencies;
  • Strong analytical skills and experience managing large amounts of data;
  • Proven relationship building skills and ability to influence all levels of stakeholders.
