Description

The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for:

  • Ownership and definition of enterprise and solution architecture to drive and support the business growth and evolution.
  • Identify new technologies, standards, and concepts from the health (NHS & private) sector, and beyond, to further success and innovation.
  • Day to day engagement with peers, suppliers, product, data & development teams to advise and consult on architecture and innovation.
  • Establish, maintain, and enhance architecture to enable agile processes and culture.
  • Removing impediments for the successful development & delivery of products.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate, governmental, and legal requirements for security, and privacy in cloud for the organisation

Profile

The Successful Enterprise Architect will need to have the following:

  • Proven work experience as an Enterprise Architect - ideally in both established and scale-up organisations.
  • Healthcare experience is highly desirable, understanding the regulation and complexity of working with the NHS systems will be critical to success.
  • Broad technical architecture experience to include ownership of cloud, data & applications.
  • Proven hands-on technical experience in software development and/or data engineering.
  • Experience of working in an agile product-centric environment.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement and shared learning.
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship management, proven at influencing Board level stakeholders on technical solutions.
  • Commercial acumen - able to factor in long-term costing and serviceability of solutions to meet commercial priorities.
  • Solution orientated- must be willing and able to work in the weeds to solve problems as required.
  • Innovative - keeps abreast of latest technologies and concepts. Brings pragmatic solutions to meet business outcomes.
  • Willingness and ability to work in Brighton 2-3 days per week
