Job Details

As the Strategic Account Director, you will be responsible for some of their highest valued accounts, driving new and recurring revenue streams. Additionally, you will be responsible for the Account Management team and driving revenue performance within it.

Description

As the Strategic Account Director, you will:

  • Work towards pre-agreed revenue targets within your accounts, whilst also delivering the overall team revenue
  • Ensuring contract renewals through strong account management
  • Understand customer challenges and deliver new solutions to meet their requirements, and increase customer spend
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting through strong pipeline planning
  • Develop key C-Level relationships to understand the challenges the client faces and opportunities to drive additional revenue
  • Be responsible for up-selling and cross selling their various Education and Training technology products and solutions
  • Work closely with team member, coaching and mentoring where required to ensure account spend is maximised
  • Drive a high performance sales culture within the team
  • Respond to tenders and bid requests and lead where appropriate
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop bespoke Marketing campaigns

Profile

As the Strategic Account Director, you will have:

  • A proven sales track record of selling into the Education sector, and working on complex opportunities
  • A technology solution sales background, such as SAAS, software, consultancy
  • A sales leadership background where you have driven sales performance through a team
  • Experience of up-selling and cross selling into strategic accounts
  • Experience of working on consultative deals from medium to high value, not low value, high volume deals
  • Experience of working on tenders and bid proposals
  • Experience of working on medium to large contract values
  • Ability to travel across England and rest of UK as required (and allows). Remote working is certainly feasible and any UK location will be considered
