Harvey Nash are working with an Education establishment to recruit an experienced Programme Director to deliver the pre implementation business case and the implementation of a fully integrated Student Lifecycle Programme, driving engagement and connectivity of the students during their University years.

You will be accountable to both the CIO and the Vice Chancellor ensuring the direction and delivery of the programme in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaison with all internal stakeholders to prepare and produce an Outline Business Case, defining what work needs to be undertaken to move to the Business Case stage.
  • Conduct a cost benefit analysis of proposed Student Lifecycle Programmes.
  • Provide overall direction and leadership for the delivery of the programme.
  • Manage and guide the individual Programme Managers who are each looking at a separate stage of the Student Lifecycle Programme.
  • Establish and maintain a full programme roadmap to ensure accuracy and that milestones targets are achieved in a timely manner.
  • Drive discussions relating to this Programme to ensure all stakeholders are kept informed and engaged.

Once these initial stages are complete you will have the option to remain in post and lead on the delivery of the Student Lifecycle Programme.

You will be able to offer demonstrable experience as a Programme Director - who has ideally successfully implemented a Student Lifecycle Programme - and be able to clearly show where you have influenced and engaged with 'C' level stakeholders in the past.

This role is anticipated to last 12 - 18months and will initially be fully remote, however as and when restrictions are lifted you must be prepared to travel to the North East as and when to ensure successful delivery of the project.
