A market leading L&D/Training Consultancy is looking for a Sales Director to drive growth of the sales unit and act as a pivotal leader across EMEA.
The Sales Director will enhance and expand the sales functions, upgrade sales and sales operations, while working cross-functionally to achieve significant revenue growth.
They will be responsible for the overall direction, strategy, and execution for sales across EMEA.

Description
The Sales Director will serve as an influential executive, who will transform business outcomes and culture by leading a high-growth, world class, sales organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the overall direction, strategy and execution for sales and sales operations across EMEA.
- Develop short and long-term scalable market strategy and forecasts through analysis and interpretation of data.
- Assess current sales methodologies and team structure to propose/implement necessary strategies to optimise performance.
- Credible and strong client-facing sales track record and the ability to assist sales teams to move strategic deals forward.
- Lead, recruit, mentor, motivate and retain top talent. Establish L&D initiatives essential to the organisation's success and enable to team to maximise their potential.
- Be a strategic thought leader and advisor to the CCO.
- Maintain strong reporting and accountability against numbers, driving to exceed quotas.
Profile
The Sales Director EMEA will be a strategic and practical thinker who is seasoned in driving the growth of a sales organisation, building capacity, and acting as a pivotal leader to grow the EMEA business.
The successful candidate should have the following experience:
- Sales Leadership Experience - extensive leadership experience driving go-to-market strategy and leading high performing teams across sales and operations. Experience developing scalable and repeatable programs and sales processes.
- Scale/Growth - Experience scaling revenues from approximately £40M to £200M+
- Industry Experience - Success selling L&D or software solution to C-suite, specifically to Chief People Officers or senior HR stakeholders. Understanding and passion for relevant sectors.
- Team Builder - Player/coach mentality - experience hiring, developing and retaining top talent.
- Service & software experience - the ideal candidate will bring a combination of experience selling services and software solutions.
