My client, a well respected FMCG business in the North West of England, are seeking a contract Payroll Project Manager for an initial 6 months to lead on a new Payroll Solution.
We are looking for someone with a good detailed payroll background and knowledge, not a generic Project Manager, who will own the following:
- Document the payroll team's processes
- Design and deliver RFI on vendors
- Document full requirements with associated feasibility to produce scope
- Contract with vendor and legal team
- Lead the payroll solution in terms of planning, change management, manage risks & Issues, KDD's and internal stakeholder management
- Work with the payroll SME's to complete analysis and design of the TO-BE service
- Planning and execution for data extraction and transformation into relevant load files
- Define and deliver the test strategy in conjunction with delivery partner
- Managing cutover activity to deployment inclusive of the hyper-care plan
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum 5 years managing UK payroll delivery
- Deep understanding of payroll impacting processes (Joiner, mover, leaver, time, absence, benefits and compensation and Gross to Net etc)
- Experienced with Tier 1 HCM technology
- Advanced excel and data analysis skills
- Experience working with external service providers
- Excellent stakeholder management
