Information Security Manager sought by a leading international FMCG organisation to lead a new IT Security function. The role is key to setting the direction for all aspects of Information Security including all aspects of IT/Infrastructure controls and risks, corporate audit needs and enabling SAP controls and system access. Working with the IT Director, you will take responsibility for both defining and delivering the security strategy and operating model, defining and overseeing security projects, raising business awareness and delivering a functioning security operation.

You will ensure that the organisation is protected against Cyber Security threats and work with stakeholders and suppliers to develop an IT Security and Cyber Security strategy, embedding this within the business. The role will manage a team that will also review and maintain certifications (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS), policies and frameworks.

Candidates will demonstrate the following -

• IT Security experience ideally within a large, complex organisation.
• A strong track record in proactively building, engaging and improving an IT security function.
• Senior management experience in an IT Security context.
• Experience of working closely with business leaders and suppliers.
• Experience of developing IT Security strategies within a complex organisation.
• Strong commercial acumen coupled with excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong awareness of IT governance, risk and audit requirements.
• Demonstrable leadership capability.
• Broad understanding of security architecture and best practice.
