Technical Director/Associate - ICT Consultancy
London or Bicester or Newcastle

We seek an experienced Technical Director/ Associate (ICT Consultancy) to be based in my clients London or Newcastle or Bicester office. You will be supporting the continued expansion of my clients ICT. My client ICT has created a vacancy for an experienced project development and delivery professional. This position represents a strong emphasis upon business development, commercial leaderships and securing new projects.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a wealth of experience in ICT infrastructure. Ideally the candidate will have a range of complementary skills to enable the development of accounts and successful management and delivery of ICT projects with a team of direct reports. We envisage relevant experience has been gained in an ICT consultancy practice, ICT professional services organisation, technology manufacturer or related professional construction industry environment.
This person will work closely with the my client ICT Director to develop and maintain client relationships both inside the My client Engineering group, external customers and key business partners.
This is a senior position with significant growth potential in a dynamic and expanding global business.

ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES
The objectives behind the creation of this role are:

• To support sustainable expansion of the my client ICT business, primarily with the development of core design & site ICT engineering services and complimentary service lines, in particular:
  • Strategic Critical Facilities/Data Centre consulting for end user clients
  • Cloud readiness and Cloud strategy consulting, for example, Enterprise Clients
  • Critical Facilities/Data Centre ICT operational performance consulting
  • ICT infrastructure and applications migration planning, management, and technical coordination
• ICT infrastructure consulting, design, and technical project management
• Support MY CLIENT ICT delivery capability in strategic consulting

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering degree in appropriate ICT infrastructure engineering discipline
• At least 10 years' appropriate employment experience
• Relevant past employment examples:
  • IT/Multi-disciplinary consulting firm
  • ICT consultancy and project management
  • Construction project management (with a technology emphasis)
  • Network technology vendor/manufacturer
  • Network systems integration contractor
• Experience in ICT infrastructure, building ICT fit-out migration and occupation
• Ideally the candidate will have a technical understanding of the following
  • Critical Facilities/Data Centre Design
  • Campus Networks
  • LAN Ethernet Switching
  • Wi-Fi Network Communications
  • Structumy client Cabling Systems
  • Fibre Optic Networks
  • Data Cabling Containment Systems
  • Telecommunication Network Infrastructure and Services
