Project Director (Heating and Plumbing)
My client are a leading provider of mechanical and electrical building services for the London and South East construction market. With a core focus on residential, they partner with their clients to provide a full mechanical design and build service, with mechanical contract project values up to £30m. With ambitious growth targets, they are now looking for a Project Director
Project Director Responsibilities:
- Lead the Operations teams on your given projects to deliver to our programme objectives and contractual obligations; on time, every time with 100% health and safety.
- Report to operations director.
- Drive continuous improvement across our operational processes and procedures.
- Inspire and engage the Senior operations team, acting as a role model to their values.
- Work across functions to represent the views of the Operations team and inputting into overall Company strategy and direction.
- Analyse performance data and recommend actions to address any underlying issues or suggest improvement areas.
- Hold the team accountable for the delivery of agreed performance measures, providing support, guidance and coaching.
- Lead client conversations, resolving any contractual issues with a solutions first approach whilst protecting the Company's interests.
Project Director Requirements:
- Positive mindset, always striving to overcome challenges.
- At least 2 years' experience of leading a Site / Senior Project Management team with project values circa £20-£30m within the Heating and Plumbing industry on residential projects.
- Skilled negotiator, able to manage complex contractual issues to win -win outcomes.
- A positive and encouraging Leader, experience of motivating a large team to exceed expectations.
- Applicants must have black CSCS card.
