Job Details
International privately owned consumer business, whose head office in the UK, are looking to hire an Interim Head of Finance to start asap. The role is being offered on a 12 month fixed-term contract and you will report to the Finance Director. The expectation will be that you work mostly remotely for the duration of the assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop team of qualified and non-qualified finance staff
- Responsible for financial reporting and international board management accounts pack
- Oversee all financial operations, including cashflow forecasting and statutory accounts/audit prep
- Review and recommend any improvements to existing processes, systems and controls
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Accountant , with good technical accounting ability
- Strong experience managing and developing good sized finance team/s in international SME or larger business/es
- Background to include stints as Head of Finance/Group Financial Controller in a group/autonomous divisional capacity
- Hands-on and detail focused individual, with proven ability to maintain strong controls environment
