Job Details
Seeking a HSQE leader and decision maker, capable of implementing a culture in the business from top to bottom. A strong communicator, able to work with the staff and report directly to the SMT.
Client Details
A national business with 5+ sites in the UK to cover.
Description
Drive safety culture in the business, introducing new systems and setting a path for gaining further ISO accreditation
Ensure the highest safety standards are implemented and adhered to, striving for continual improvement.
Be responsible for GDPR and Security Compliance
Produce accurate and clear reports and MI to support business decisions.
Work with External Stakeholders, Statutory bodies, ISO and Assessors.
Ensure adequate H&S training for employees.
Manage direct reports and create skills development.
Act as the Technical Authority in HSQE and advise the SMT on Health, Safety and Compliance matters
Work with Line Management / SMT on the creation of the Health & Safety budget.
Profile
An effective leader, able to demonstrate examples of implement, improving and delivering on leading HSQE standards
NEBOSH diploma or equivalent experience. Ideally a member of IOSH
A clear and robust knowledge of the latest HSQE legislation and best practice.
Analytical, detail oriented, an excellent communicator and stakeholder manager. Able to influence people at all levels and build relationships.
