This exciting new opportunity is with a notable public sector client, located in Glasgow. This organization is undergoing significant digital transformation and is looking for a Project Manager to join one of its teams and aid in a critical project. This contract is initially for 3 months outside of IR35. The nature of the o role means that extension is extremely likely

Your New Role
As a Project Manager, you will help to support the adoption of Microsoft Teams across the organization. Having successfully implemented office 365 the organization wishes to get the benefit of all Teams collaboration tools. As well as integrating bolt on 's such as yammer. Manage the Programme Team including technical resource. Be responsible for the engagement with Senior Service owners within the organisations regarding project service reporting and issue management. Develop and maintain the Project Plan exercising change control when appropriate to ensure that agreed programme timescales are adhered to. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the Programme at relevant meetings. Create a roll out, adoption and training plan for Microsoft teams. Work alongside solutions architects to design the scope and scale of the project.  

What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Project Manager with a track record of delivering projects within a fast-paced change environment.

Other skills include:

• Successfully delivered a Microsoft teams/office 365 project previously (essential)
• Understanding of both agile and waterfall methodologies
• Demonstratable experience of business change methodologies and processes.
• Good technical understanding of Microsoft technologies.
• Able to show examples of taking full budget control for a major transformation project.
• Experience of working within a PMO and process improvement experience.
