Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Provide consultancy and expert advice on IAM across the business

Enablement of new IAM capabilities to meet business needs

Continuously improve IAM Policies and Processes

Analysis and monitoring of data to provide key metrics, to ensure least privilege and no toxic access in conjunction with our Audit teams

Risk management and mitigation for IAM

Engagement and communication with stakeholders across the business to ensure awareness of IAM policies and procedures

Help the IAM Product Management team deliver value to the business through understanding the IAM Strategy & Roadmap and support the Capability Maps presented by the IAM function to all stakeholders

Act as a point of escalation for IAM alerts or issues

What you will need!

The role will require significant prior experience as a subject matter expert within Identity and Access Management, in particular deep technical knowledge of identity management within a Microsoft Environment (Windows Operating Systems & Active Directory), Linux based operating systems (desktop & server), Core infrastructure (network, databases). You'll have knowledge of Identity and Access Management governance principles and best practices and experience in managing information security risk relating to identity. Knowledge of IAM related technical protocols is very important for this role.

Essential criteria:

IAM related knowledge: processes, issues, approaches, how IAM tooling works

Experience of working and influencing cross-functionally and managing external agencies

Good working knowledge of industry IT compliance standards, particularly in design and implementation

Experience of relationship management of senior stakeholders

Experience & Knowledge in at least one specific IAM tool

Strong IT skills, able to analyse data for reporting purposes and follow work instruction

Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
