Head of Platform Engineering - Digital Transformation - AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins

Oliver Bernard are currently seeking a Head of Platform Engineering to join a small team within a Tech First Tourism SME as part of an extensive Digital Transformation project across the business.

Looking to make the most of the current climate by focusing their attention on growing and transforming their tech team, they're looking to add a Platform Engineering Manager to the team that can come in and improve Platform Engineering/DevOps best practices, whilst enabling the team to continually focus on driving the growth and scalability of their platform so it can continue to serve the needs of more and more customers.

The ideal candidate will have Managerial or Lead experience (and looking to take the step up) to oversee a team of four engineers, whilst leading from the front in a hands on fashion.

This is a fully hands on role and will involve working with the following:

• AWS Cloud
• Docker and Kubernetes
• IaC with Terraform
• CI/CD with Jenkins
• Lead/Managerial experience
• Software Engineering experience is beneficial (any OO lanaguage will be considered)

This role will be offering a competitive salary of GBP80-100K alongside benefits, and can interview & onboard remotely at this time.
