Job Details
Growing insurance business based in the UK is looking to hire an Interim Head of IT Change & Delivery. Reporting directly to the CIO, you will be responsible for the entire IT programme portfolio, but with a key focus in implementing better project governance, process and controls, adding greater maturity and robustness to the process.
Key skills / experience required include:
- Proven track record leading IT Programme Delivery functions within both large, corporate environments as well as SME businesses which have scaled at pace;
- Strong understanding of the project delivery process and previous experience of setting up and implementing the policies and procedures to ensure that all work is delivered in accordance with the appropriate governance and rigour;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to roll your sleeves up and lead by example;
- Good knowledge of project and programme management practices and comfortable operating within both Agile and Waterfall environments;
- Broad understanding of technology across infrastructure, application development, data, cyber, and digital;
Given the current climate, this will be a remote working role that can be based anywhere across the UK.
