Company located in the San Francisco, CA area is seeking an IT Director that will be responsible for leadership and management of a growing IT environment. Although there are no direct reports at this time, the IT Director will help build out an organization, as necessary, and supervise the IT Team, both internal and external, to support the company's ERP (Radius) and infrastructure and to develop the standardized ERP to rollout to contemplated acquisitions. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience working alongside the C-suite to build a best -in-class IT environment that supports and grows the business but can also support break fix tasks. The IT Director will implement enterprise systems and policies that enable integrated and scalable solutions, maximize effectiveness and improve service and quality. Essential duties & responsibilities:

  • Align strategic IT plans and budgets with business objectives and clearly communicate the IT objectives and associated accountabilities.

  • Facilitate, where required and relevant, interactions between Business stakeholders and ERP users on critical issues, future functionality enhancements and system upgrades.

  • Manage the IT-related financial activities and prioritize spending using formal budgeting practices.

  • Manage the life cycle of applications for purchased and developed software, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the company.

  • Management of organizational databases to ensure users and applications have access to the right data at the right time for the right reasons and with optimal performance.

  • Plan, direct and coordinate the life cycle management of computer and network and telephony systems associated with the offices and data centers to ensure the stable operation of the organization's IT assets.

  • Provide timely and effective response to user requests and effective and efficient resolution of all business impacting incidents.

  • Plan, direct and coordinate the life cycle management of computer and network systems associate with the offices and data centers to ensure the stable operation of the organization's IT assets.

  • Develop and manage the overall disaster recovery plan and capacity of IT systems and infrastructure; ensure the continual functioning of mission-critical operations and mitigate the risk of negatively impacting the stability of the business environment.

Required skills, experience & qualifications:

  • 10 + years of IT Management experience; 5+ years of experience as an IT Director with progressive experience and a demonstrated ability of career growth

  • Extensive EFI Radius ERP and MIS packaging and label software solutions and implementation experience in an acquisition environment

  • Experience building a team and developing, leading and mentoring IT staff

  • Experience supporting desktop solution software, Windows/Google environment (growing to over 1,000 end users across corporate offices and offsite locations over the next 2-3 years), Telephony and data systems

  • Cybersecurity, Firewall and Penetration protective software implementation leadership experience

  • Experience with add-on acquisitions and integrating new locations is a plus

  • Strong communicator that can describe complex ideas concisely to SME's and novices alike. This skill can flex from the C-suite level to an end user effectively and with ease.

  • Lead through empathy and inspire team and peers.

  • Deliver feedback with tact and compassion that generates results and receive it with a continuous improvement mindset.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or certifications and equivalent experience in related field
